Derek Almada

Derek Almada has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Derek currently works as an Account Executive at Hyper Microsystems since 2022.

Before that, Derek worked at Jon-Don from 2014 to 2022, where they served as a National Sales Representative. In this role, they provided valuable consultation, product presentation, and excellent customer service to develop new business and grow the current customer base nationally. Derek also expanded their network across multiple industries, focusing on carpet cleaning companies, building service contractors, and restoration companies.

Derek played an integral role in presenting innovative ideas during team meetings and created effective marketing material to boost product awareness.

Derek's earlier experiences include working as a Financial Services Professional at New York Life Insurance Company from 2009 to 2011. In this role, they provided expert-level support to families and business owners in areas such as life insurance, wealth management, investment strategies, and long-term care insurance.

Derek also has experience in the trading industry, having worked as a floor trader at Chicago Mercantile Exchange from 1997 to 2009 and as an Independent Floor Trader (local) at S&P Pit, Chicago Mercantile Exchange from 1997 to 2009.

Earlier in their career, Derek worked as a Clerk at Eurodollar Futures "Local" Pit Traders from 1995 to 1997. Derek also served as an Assistant Coach at Concordia University from 1994 to 1997.

Derek Almada's education history is as follows: from 1994 to 1995, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they studied at Sam Houston State University, but the degree name and field of study are unknown.
