Simon Lappin

Simon Lappin has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development. In 1998, they began their career at Epicor as a Business Development Manager. Simon then moved to ASI Ltd in 2004 as a Sales & Marketing Manager. In 2005, they took a role at CorVu Ltd as a Business Development Manager. From 2006 to 2009, they were a Senior Sales Executive at Borland (UK) Ltd. Simon then joined Jive Software in 2009 as the UK Country Manager and held various roles, including Director of Sales, EMEA, Regional Vice President Sales, and General Manager/VP of Sales, EMEA. In 2018, they joined Act-On Software, Inc. as VP EMEA, Sales. In 2020, they joined LumApps as VP Sales, EMEA & Interim VP Sales North America. Their current role is Vice President of Global Sales at hx, where they are responsible for building and guiding the global sales organisation, and accelerating the successful deployment of the Renew platform across the insurance sector.

Simon Lappin completed a Postgraduate Study in Colour Chemistry at the University of Leeds from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a 2.1 degree in Colour Chemistry from the University of Leeds from 1988 to 1991.
