Xinyao Tang

Senior Electrical Engineer at Hyperfine

Xinyao Tang has accumulated several years of work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Starting in 2012, Tang worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut until 2014. Following that, from 2015 to 2020, Tang joined Case Western Reserve University as a Research Assistant and also took on various roles as a Teaching Assistant. During this time, Tang gained experience in wireless power and data link systems, as well as advanced integrated circuit design. In 2020, Tang joined Weinberg Medical Physics LLC as an Electrical Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and testing the power electronics part for a portable MRI system. Additionally, Tang was involved in scheduling the pulse sequence over air. Tang's most recent position is as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Hyperfine, starting in August 2021.

Xinyao Tang began their education in 2008 when they attended Qingdao University of Technology, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following their time at the University of Connecticut, they continued their academic journey at Case Western Reserve University. From 2015 to 2020, Xinyao Tang pursued their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.
