Tomaz Sedej

Tomaz Sedej currently serves as Ecosystem Manager at Hyperledger Foundation and is a research collaborator with MIT CISR, while also being a guest researcher and PhD fellow at Copenhagen Business School's Department of Accounting. With research interests in blockchain technology, inter-organizational relationships, digital ecosystems, and management accounting, Tomaz has also lectured on Management Control Systems. Previous roles include a visiting research scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management and various positions at Gorenje Group Nordic A/S, where Tomaz led the Business Performance and Development department and managed project portfolios. Early career experience includes roles at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company and L'Oréal, focusing on demand planning, financial controlling, and ERP implementation. Tomaz's education includes a PhD in Accounting and Business/Management from Copenhagen Business School, an MBA from the University of Bradford, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from the University of Ljubljana.
