Dan Caspi's work experience is as follows:
1. Co-Founder, CTO at Hypernative from November 2021 to present.
2. Chief Technology Officer at Fido from January 2020 to October 2021.
3. Head of ML at Fido from November 2016 to January 2020. Dan led a team of data scientists to build an ML-based credit scoring engine for individuals in emerging markets.
4. Advisor (Machine Learning) at Fido from January 2015 to October 2016.
5. ML Applied Researcher at Microsoft from September 2015 to November 2016. Dan worked on researching datasets and constructing ML-based malware detection models.
6. R&D software team leader at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from September 2013 to September 2015. Dan led a team of 3 software developers in the development of mission-critical IP traffic processing systems.
7. Real Time/Embedded software engineer at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from October 2007 to October 2013. Dan developed high-throughput software for IP processing on both x86 servers and Network Processors.
Dan Caspi has a strong education background in the fields of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics. Dan obtained their MSc degree in Statistics and Probability from Tel Aviv University, graduating with distinction (cum laude) in 2017. Prior to that, they completed their BSc degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Tel Aviv University, also graduating with distinction (cum laude), from 2004 to 2007. During their undergraduate studies, Dan had the opportunity to be an exchange student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the academic year 2005-2006, where they focused on Mathematics and Computer Science.
