Evan Phillips began their career in 2008 as a Web Developer for Puget Sound Early College. In 2011, they joined CaseIntel Corporation as a Software Developer. In 2014, they moved to 1Energy Systems, where they served as a Software Development Engineer. During their time there, they developed control system software for utility scale energy storage systems and built the first version of a distributed energy resource (DER) fleet-management software. In 2016, they moved to Doosan GridTech as a Lead Software Development Engineer, where they gathered requirements, designed, and lead a team of 8 developers to build a site controller and historian, and lead a team of 4 developers to build a data collection and analysis platform. In 2018, they joined HyperProof as a Staff Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for full stack development of a cloud-based compliance management app, building out app infrastructure using industry standard tools, and leading a team of 9+ developers through design, development, and launch of numerous product features.
Evan Phillips attended the University of Washington from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Systems.
