Josh Gibson

Josh Gibson is an accomplished physicist currently serving as the Head of Technology at Hypervision Surgical since March 2024, where responsibilities include guiding the technical development and intellectual property strategy for real-time hyperspectral imaging in operating rooms. Previously, Josh held various positions at Cambridge Consultants from October 2015 to February 2024, advancing from Physicist to Principal Physicist, leading teams in the Medical Technology department to ensure regulatory compliance, perform testing, and develop medical imaging intellectual property. Early career experience includes a summer placement at TWI, where Josh enhanced efficiency through Python scripting. Josh holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Durham University, complemented by A Level studies at Hills Road Sixth Form College and GCSEs from St Ivo School.
