Donnie Ellstrom

Donnie Ellstrom is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing innovative software solutions. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Betterworks since March 2021, Donnie has developed a notification engine using Golang and created a content repository for dynamic notification template management. Prior experience includes roles at Fresh Consulting from March 2017 to March 2021, where Donnie contributed to applications in the commercial real estate and health insurance sectors using modern JavaScript frameworks and Python with Django. Donnie began the software engineering journey at General Assembly, completing a Web Development Immersive program after earning a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Arizona.
