Aldo Salas

Aldo Salas has extensive experience in application security and has held various roles throughout their career. Aldo is currently serving as the Application Security Lead at HYPR, where they focus on ensuring the security of applications. Prior to this, Aldo was a Senior Application Security Engineer at Live Nation Entertainment for seven years. In this role, they led and performed application security assessments, managed the adoption of new security tools, and organized hacking challenges. Aldo has also worked as a Security Researcher at Synack Red Team and as a Senior Application Security Engineer at Aspect Security. Additionally, they have served as an OWASP Chapter Leader for the Aguascalientes Local Chapter, where they organized events and facilitated learning about application security. Aldo began their career as an Application Security Specialist at Softtek, where they led the application security team and provided support to the incident response team. Throughout their career, Aldo has demonstrated expertise in application security controls, code review, penetration testing, and incident response.

Aldo Salas obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes. Aldo completed their studies at the university from 2004 to 2008.
