Synne Myhre Jensen has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they worked as a Project Assistant in the database management team at NILU – Norwegian Institute for Air Research. Synne'sresponsibilities included data format checking and database population. Synne continued in this role until 2020. In 2017, they were a Summer Student and Project Assistant at ESRF - The European Synchrotron, where they worked on a project on hierarchical self-assembly of nanotubes using small angle X-ray scattering. Synne also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oslo in 2017 and 2018. From 2019 to 2020, they held two roles at the University of Oslo, serving as a Research Assistant and a Lecturer. In 2020, they joined Oslo Kommune as a Teach First Candidate through a leadership development program. Synne will complete this role in 2022. Currently, they are an Application Engineer at Hystar, starting in August 2022.
Synne Myhre Jensen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2017. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry at the same institution, which they completed in 2019. During their undergraduate studies, they had the opportunity to participate in the ERASMUS exchange program at the University of Cambridge in 2015-2016. Currently, in 2021, Synne is attending the University of Oslo (UiO) to obtain a Praktisk Pedagogisk Utdanning degree in Pedagogikk.
