Daejong Lim

Daejong Lim is an Advanced ADAS Engineer at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH since July 2021, focusing on the development and validation of Highway Driving Pilot and Advanced Highway Driving Assist systems, along with project management for ADAS development and market trend research. Prior experience includes roles such as Test Engineer for BMW Group at Bertrandt Group, where responsibilities included total vehicle validation of E/E, ADAS, and infotainment systems, and technical support for the establishment of a BMW R&D center in Korea. Additional positions within Bertrandt Group involved a master thesis on driver seat cushion systems and various internships at Mercedes-Benz AG, including work on crash testing. Daejong Lim holds a Master of Engineering in System Engineering & Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ulm, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Myongji University. Military service as an Auxiliary Police Sergeant was completed at the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency.
