Simon Gill

Simon Gill is a seasoned automotive engineering professional with extensive experience in vehicle dynamics and steering systems. Currently serving as the Group Manager for Suspension and Steering Tuning at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH since November 2019, Simon leads the European steering test and development for global Hyundai N Brand vehicles, including the award-winning i20N and IONIQ 5 N. Previously, Simon worked at Honda R&D Europe from January 2009 to October 2019, where responsibilities included benchmarking and tuning for global Honda models, as well as roles in design quality and powertrain. Earlier experience includes a position as a Technician in Service Parts Research at Honda Motor Europe Logistics NV. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, obtained in 2005.
