Sungdae Lee

SUNGDAE LEE has been employed at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. since July 2007, currently serving as a Manager and Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities include designing power transformers and auto transformers up to 700 MVA 525 kV class, as well as participating in design review meetings as an electrical engineering design expert. Additionally, SUNGDAE serves as Design Director at Hyundai Power Transformers USA since March 2013, overseeing the development of advanced power transformer technology and customer-specific solutions. With a background in impulse distribution, short circuit analysis, and thermal design obtained through advanced numerical tools, SUNGDAE also contributes as a Training Specialist, enhancing design and operational training for both customers and internal personnel. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kyung Hee University, completed in 2007.
