Laura Homec

Laura Homec is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Hyundai Translead since June 2017. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineer role at Industrial Prosoft Solutions and a Process Engineering Contractor position at Schneider Electric, where skills in simulating coal and gas-fired power plants were developed. Laura has also designed a dolphin transport vessel while serving as a Mechanical Designer at SPAWAR, contributing as a project manager and sponsor liaison. Additional experience encompasses internships at Schneider Electric, The Scripps Research Institute, and participation in the IEEE Sparkfun Robotics Competition Team at UCSD, where various mechanical design projects were undertaken. Laura earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego in 2015.
