Gareth Watkins

Gareth Watkins has extensive experience in exhibition planning and management, particularly in the home interior and lifestyle wholesale sector. Gareth currently serves as the Director of Key Accounts and Editor of The Summerhouse - Spring & Autumn Fair at Hyve Group plc. Prior to this, Gareth held positions such as Head of Sales at ITE Group plc and ASCENTIAL EVENTS LIMITED, as well as Key Account Manager/Show Manager at Ascential Events. Earlier in their career, they worked in international sales at PennWell and served as an Event Director at Aerospace media, which was eventually sold to PennWell. Gareth also has experience in project management at UK and International Press and as a Director at Active International Media. Gareth started their career as an Advertising Manager at dmg world media, specializing in the power industry.

Gareth Watkins graduated from the University of Leicester in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology. Prior to that, they attended Reigate Grammar School from 1987 to 1995, where they completed their A levels in Geography, Physics, and Chemistry.
