Steven Boyer has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the automotive industry. Steven is currently the Vice President, Commercial at Hyzon Motors, a position they have held since May 2023. Before joining Hyzon Motors, Boyer served as the President of Sonnax from April 2018 to April 2023. Prior to that, they were the President of Marmon Engine Technology from March 2017 to March 2018. Boyer began their career in the racing industry, working as a Crew Chief for Hall of Fame Racing from December 2007 to January 2009 and as an Engineering Manager at Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates from December 2005 to November 2007. Steven also served as a Crew Chief for the #40 Cup Team at Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates from October 2004 to December 2005. Boyer started their career as a Race Engineer at Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates in January 2001.
Steven Boyer received their B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1993. Steven later attended Case Western Reserve University and graduated with an M.S. in Engineering Management in 2000.
