Keith Newton

Keith Newton is the CEO and Co-Founder at I-Novae Studios. Prior to their current position, Keith was a Principal Engineering Consultant at Bloomberg LP from September 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for a firm-wide software infrastructure initiative building a compiler toolchain and plug-in for Visual Studio that allowed a Windows only IDE to integrate with Bloomberg’s UNIX/Linux environment to drive better developer productivity. Keith also reverse engineered Bloomberg’s security which involved authentication, user tokens, encryption on disk and in memory, web services, and network topology so the Windows based UNIX/Linux compiler toolchain could interact with the DEV environment. Keith worked with various teams within the department to optimize both runtime and build performance for their applications. Keith helped grow the department from 15 to 30+ people while building teams and products that targeted new market segments. Keith also conducted due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Keith’s previous positions include Principal Software Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace from February 2013 to February 2014 and Chief Technology Officer at 2canFit, Co. from November 2011 to October 2012.

Keith Newton has a BS in Game Development & Design from Full Sail University and an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Washtenaw Community College.
