Nils Schaffner

Nils Schaffner is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in directing operations and advising within the fintech and structured finance sectors. Currently serving as Director UK and Europe at i80 Group since May 2023 and as Senior Advisor at Silversea Capital Ltd. since March 2022, Nils specializes in advising and investing in asset-based companies and non-bank finance lenders. Prior roles include Director at NIBC Bank, where Nils led the UK fintech and structured finance practice, and various advisory positions within venture capital and private equity, focusing on growth-oriented companies. Nils also has a background in corporate finance and strategy through roles at NSL Advisory Ltd. and RBS, with earlier experience at KPMG and as a co-founder of FININNOV.
