Ruby Kodiah

Ruby Kodiah serves as an Exam FM Student Facilitator at the International Association of Black Actuaries since June 2023 and holds the position of Actuarial Associate at Ameritas since January 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Youngstown State University from January 2021 to December 2022 and completing an actuarial internship at AIG during the summer of 2022. Ruby also participated in a bootcamp program with the International Association of Black Actuaries in July 2021, and worked as a Business Development Administrator and Sales Specialist at FIRST INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED from February to October 2020. Earlier roles include serving as a Personal Assistant at Margins Group from September 2018 to September 2019. Ruby holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Youngstown State University (2021-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2014-2018). Currently, Ruby is pursuing further education at WorldQuant University, starting in February 2024.
