Paula Calle Vives

Paula Calle Vives is a seasoned nuclear safety professional with extensive experience in various roles within the nuclear sector. Currently serving as a Senior Nuclear Safety Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency since June 2020, Paula previously held leadership positions at the Office for Nuclear Regulation from July 2010 to May 2020, including Delivery Lead for Advanced Nuclear Technologies and Principal Inspector. Prior experience includes roles as a Safety Case Engineer at Atkins and a Probabilistic Safety Analyses research engineer at Electricite de France, where contributions included significant advancements in safety assessments and methodologies. Paula holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and an Industrial Engineering degree specializing in nuclear technology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
