Lynne Embleton

Lynne Embleton is an accomplished executive in the aviation industry, currently serving as CEO of Aer Lingus since April 2021 and holding a position on the Management Committee at International Airlines Group (IAG) since April 2017. With extensive experience at British Airways, Lynne has held various leadership roles including Managing Director Gatwick and Director of Strategy, where responsibilities included business planning, operational research, and strategic alliances. Additional experience includes serving as CEO of IAG Cargo and as a Non-Executive Director for Ofgem and British Midland Airways Ltd. Lynne also held the chairmanship of BA CityFlyer. Educationally, Lynne holds a First Class BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, an MBA from Lancaster University, and an MSc in Management Science/Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde.
