Dorena Quinn

Dorena Quinn is Vice President People at IAMGOLD Corporation based out of the Toronto office. Dorena joined the company in 2018 and has held progressively senior HR roles. She presently oversees the architecture, implementation, and oversight of global talent employee programs driving performance, engagement, inclusion & belonging, and setting a foundation for a truly differentiated workplace culture that has become a competitive advantage for the Company. Dorena works closely with the executive leadership team and HRCC, and has over 20 years of experience leading organizational transformations, driving growth, cultivating successful leaders and teams, and constructing an employee-first culture. Prior to joining IAMGOLD, Dorena worked in media measurement, technology and financial services industries with a focus on multi-disciplinary human capital initiatives to drive organizational performance.

Dorena currently serves as Director of EURO Ressources S.A., is Chair of the Mining Industry Human Resource Council (MiHR) anti-harassment committee Safe Workplaces for All and an avid member of various industry groups. Dorena is an advocate for a variety of causes close to her heart, particularly women’s leadership and mentorship. She holds a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) from York University, a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toronto, as well as numerous coaching, leadership and training accreditations.
