Athanasios Roumeliotis M.D.

Athanasios Roumeliotis MD is an experienced ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery. Since 2009, Athanasios has served as co-director of pediatric eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery at Mitera Hospital. Athanasios has also held multiple positions since 2001, including in private practice, Athens Medical Center, and Group IASO, focusing on ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Athanasios completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and obtained an ophthalmology degree from Saint Savvas Hospital. The medical education was completed with an MD in Medicine from the University of Athens.
