Dawn Pederson

Dawn Pederson has a diverse work experience. Dawn is currently working as a Manager Underwriting Support at IAT Insurance Group since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Youth Field Hockey Coach at Windy City Field Hockey from January 2007 to September 2021.

Dawn also worked as a Front Office Manager at G.S. Floor Designs, Inc. from June 2014 to March 2017, where they managed a customer service support center and handled troubleshooting and scheduling for in-home product installation.

Dawn has experience in coaching as well. Dawn worked as an Offensive Line Coach at Loyola University Chicago, as part of the National Team for Women's World Championship at USA Football, and as a Coach for NFL Play 60, all between 2015 and 2017.

In addition, Dawn worked as a Special Services Buyer at Anixter from November 2010 to June 2014, where they managed inventory for Wire and Cable consignments and collaborated with sales and operations to ensure timely deliveries.

Dawn also has prior experience as a Head Field Hockey Coach & Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Robert Morris University, Chicago, IL from June 2011 to April 2013, and as a Field Hockey Summer Camp Coach at The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2011.

Before these roles, they worked as an Assistant Teacher/Culinary Specialist at Early Days Preschool and Childcare from April 2008 to August 2010. In this role, they were responsible for food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and providing care to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

Dawn Pederson attended The Ohio State University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on general studies in the field. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained additional certifications. In May 2018, they completed the Mandated Reporter for Children and Family Services certification from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Dawn also obtained the Safe Sport Certification from the U.S. Center for SafeSport in April 2018.
