Layla Obermayer

Layla Obermayer is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and marketing within the fragrance and flavours industry. Currently serving as Sales and Marketing Manager at Iberchem since August 2018 and previously holding the role of Senior Sales Manager for UAE Key Accounts, Layla also has experience as Head of Sales for Asia at Aromatic Flavours & Fragrances and Technical Sales Manager at Elixens SA, focusing on various global markets. Early career roles include managing logistics for Scottish & Newcastle and working as a Sales Administrator for Burberry. Layla started their professional journey in Japan as a Liaison Officer and Assistant Language Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Layla holds an M.A. Honours in Modern Languages from the University of St Andrews and is currently pursuing an MBA specializing in Leadership and Innovation at Edinburgh Napier University.
