Rodrigo Martins is currently a PhD student in Molecular Biosciences at iBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica, focusing on the biosynthesis and signaling pathways of indole-3-acetic acid in marine microalgae and their implications for biomass and high-value compound production. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Fellow on the PhycoµBiome project, which aims to enhance marine microalgae productivity through microbiome research, and as a Laboratory Technician at Universidade da Beira Interior. Rodrigo Martins holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, both from Universidade da Beira Interior.
