Yael Liebes-Peer

Yael Liebes-Peer has a long history of work experience in the medical field. Yael began their career in 2005 as a Teaching Assistant (Bio-reactors) and Project Manager at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. In 2007, they took on a role as a Visiting Researcher at Institut Pasteur, Paris, developing a chemiluminescence biosensor based on optical fibers for the diagnostic of N. meningitidis serotype B particles in serum and CSF samples. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Lecturer at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, a Lab Manager and Research Associate at Tel Aviv University, and a RA/QA and Clinical Manager and Clinical Application Scientist at SENSICA. In 2018, they began working at Mazor Robotics (Medtronic company) as a Senior RA Specialist, leading global processes throughout the entire life-cycle of the device, including recall/FCA process and MDRs, as well as Regulatory strategy and global submission of technical files. Yael also worked as a RA/QA and Clinical Manager at Ornim Medical. In 2019, they took on the role of Quality Systems Manager at Medtronic. Finally, in 2020, they became the Director of RA/QA at Vocalis Health, and in 2021, they became the Head of RA/QA at Ibex Medical Analytics.

Yael Liebes-Peer obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006. Yael then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Engineering from the same institution in 2008. Finally, they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology and Materials Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2012. Additionally, they obtained a GCP-CRA certification from Bioforum in February 2015.
