Cam Smith, PGA has a diverse background in sales and the golf industry. In 2017, Cam started their career as a Sales Representative at Vector Marketing, and then went on to work as a Professional Golf Management Intern at the City of Port Orange in 2018. Cam gained further experience as an intern at The Club at 3 Creek in 2019. In 2020, Cam took on roles as an Associate Golf Professional at Troon and as an Assistant Director at The Tour Sponsored by Under Armour. More recently, Cam has worked as an Independent Sales Representative for various companies including Donald Ross Sportswear, IBKUL, Vantage Apparel, and Heritage Creations. In 2023, Cam started their own company, Cam Smith Sales, LLC, where they serve as the Owner.

Cam Smith, PGA, completed their education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore from 2017 to 2022, where they pursued a degree in Hospitality/Business with a focus on PGA Golf Management. Prior to attending the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, they obtained their High School Diploma from Linganore High School, completing their secondary education from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Cam Smith has acquired various certifications throughout their career. Cam became a Class A PGA Member through the PGA of America in May 2022. In November 2021, they obtained a Certificate of Excellence from Cvent. Other certifications include being a Certified Fitter by PING in January 2021 and a KBS Certified Fitter by KBS Golf Shafts in May 2019. Cam Smith also holds the American Development Model certification from the PGA of America, earned in April 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the ServSafe Manager certification from the National Restaurant Association in March 2019. As a golfer, Cam Smith played in the NCAA Division 1 as part of the MEAC Conference, although the exact dates of their participation were not provided.
