Alessia Forzina

Alessia Forzina, PhD, is a Global Senior Medical Affairs Specialist at IBSA Group since February 2020, where responsibilities include providing scientific guidance for global business development across 80 countries and managing local key opinion leaders to generate new study concepts. Prior to this role, Alessia served as a Product Manager and Medical Advisor at IBSA Farmaceutici from February 2015 to February 2020, focusing on scientific training and national business strategies, and was previously a Medical Representative. Alessia also held the position of Medical Advisor at HEALMANN srl Health Care, where clinical studies were identified and scientific publications managed. Earlier experience includes research at GSK within the Welcame Laboratories related to myocardial infarction. Academia credentials consist of a PhD in Pharmacology from The University of Queensland and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, complemented by a research program at the University of Otago.
