Mahdi Kashani has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mahdi is currently working as a Lead AI/ML Engineer at IBSS since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LexisNexis Risk Solutions as a Software Engineer - Analytical Consultant, where they contributed to the development of a new sql-like programming language and created a documentation blog.

Mahdi also worked as a Software Engineer at Team MindShift, an educational technology startup, where they were responsible for the engineering of two products, including the development of a web-based multimedia recording service.

Mahdi has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, supporting students in the subject of Discrete Mathematics and Computer Architecture. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Co-Op at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, where they developed ETL pipelines and predictive models for student retention efforts.

Furthermore, Mahdi has experience as a Research Assistant at the Odum School of Ecology and as a Student Researcher at the Mechatronics Research Laboratory, where they worked on machine vision systems.

Mahdi Kashani's education history begins with Sadra High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Mathematics and Physics from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they attended Azad University (IAU) from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Control Engineering. Their education continued at The University of Georgia from 2017 to 2019, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Mahdi Kashani has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Mahdi completed courses such as "Understanding the Impact of Deepfake Videos," "Learning Gatsby," "TypeScript: Object-Oriented Programming," "Introducing Robotic Process Automation," "Learning TypeScript," "Learning NGINX," "PyTorch Essential Training: Deep Learning," "AWS Machine Learning by Example," "Cleaning, Transforming and Prepping Your Data With Tableau Prep," "Docker for Data Scientists," and "OpenCV for Python Developers" through LinkedIn between 2020 and 2022. Mahdi also achieved the "Hadoop: Data Analysis" certification from Lynda.com in 2019.

Furthermore, Mahdi Kashani pursued additional online courses, including "Introduction to Programming with MATLAB" from Vanderbilt University in 2015 and "College Writing 2.2x, Principles of Written English" from UC Berkeley in 2014. Mahdi also completed the renowned "6.00.1x, Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" course offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014. Lastly, they attained the "College Writing 2.1x, Principles of Written English" certification from UC Berkeley in 2013.

Most recently, Mahdi Kashani acquired the "Splunk Core Certified User" certification from Splunk in September 2022.
