Yang Ji

Yang Ji has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as a Designer at HYTE, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Designer at iBUYPOWER from 2018 to the present. In this role, they focused on expanding the company's product line and were responsible for designing unique case front panels, optimizing chassis designs, and conducting R&D on new computer cases.

Before joining iBUYPOWER, Yang Ji founded Design For Paragon Custom Computers in 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Creative Director at Vertagear from 2016 to 2018, where their responsibilities included optimizing and improving the product line, identifying design problems, leading product research and development, visualizing and promoting unique features, and coordinating marketing and production efforts.

Yang Ji also has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Alias Model Contractor at Savannah College of Art and Design, a role they held from 2012 to 2013. They have also worked as an Industrial Designer at Pentair in 2011.

In terms of education experience, Yang Ji served as a Mentor and Teaching Assistant at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011 and 2010, respectively. They also worked as a Work Study at the same institution from 2008 to 2008.

Yang Ji attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Industrial and Product Design. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, Yang Ji studied at Zhejiang University and earned a B Eng degree in Industrial Design. Their earlier education includes attending the High School Attached to Northeast Normal University from 1997 to 2000, where they received a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates with a focus in Science.
