K. Vish Viswanathan

“Vish” Viswanathan joined ICA in 1991. With experience in risk management and public accounting, Vish has taken on challenging consulting assignments as Director of Special Projects for ICA and he manages ICA’s Expert Witness and Litigation Support Department. Vish’s expertise and coverage analysis has resulted in the recovery of millions of dollars for clients in litigation matters where he provided litigation support and expert witness services. Vish is regularly recognized by Clients for his unmatched problem-solving abilities and his industry standard-setting knowledge of Directors' & Officers' liability and Management Liability concerns.

Prior to joining ICA, Vish was the Audit Manager for Zambezi Paper Mills Group in Ndola, Zambia where he reviewed and analyzed the company’s financial risks and exposures. He also was a Chartered Accountant for Nathan & Raman in Chennai, India where he reviewed compliance with generally accepted accounting standards and advised clients on tax and financial matters.

Vish holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, specializing in Risk Management & Insurance and Management Information systems. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Bombay. In 1990, Vish passed the Uniform CPA Examination of AICPA. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds the Associate in Risk Management, the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, and the Certified Insurance Counselor designations. Vish is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and the Society of CPUs.
