Shelley Ahrens

Shelley Ahrens has a robust background in software engineering with over 35 years of experience in various roles, primarily in the medical imaging and technology sectors. Currently serving as Software Manager at iCAD since January 2016, Shelley previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at VuCOMP, Inc., where responsibilities included the design, development, and documentation of Mammography Computer Aided Detection applications, as well as extensive work with DICOM formats. Prior to VuCOMP, Shelley worked at Nokia and Texas Instruments, focusing on voice recognition algorithms and real-time software development, respectively. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cameron University.
