Veni Markovski

Veni Markovski has extensive experience in Internet governance and policy, serving as the President and Chairman of the Board at the Internet Society - Bulgaria since 1995. Currently, Veni holds multiple roles at ICANN, including Vice President for Engagement with the United Nations, where responsibilities involve liaising with diplomats and promoting Internet policy. Veni also serves as CEO of Global Solutions and Consulting, providing expertise in Internet policy and cybersecurity. Previous experience includes being a member of the Bulgarian Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance and serving as an expert for the European Commission on disinformation issues. Veni's educational background includes a Master of Science degree in law from St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University.
