James Devlin

James Devlin, CPA has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. James is currently serving as the Vice President of Corporate Finance at iCapital as of August 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions at SIMON Markets LLC, where they served as the Finance Director / Controller until January 2022 and then transitioned to the role of Controller until August 2022. Before joining SIMON Markets LLC, James worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at NYU Stern School of Business from September 2017 to May 2019.

Prior to their time at NYU, James worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Vice President from April 2017 to April 2019. James also gained valuable experience at EY, where they worked as a Manager in the Financial Services department from January 2012 to April 2017. James started their career as a Summer Associate in Internal Audit at Nasdaq in June 2011, where they worked until October 2011.

James Devlin, CPA, holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Business Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware. In addition to their educational accomplishments, James has also earned certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from The University of the State of New York in March 2013, and as a Series 27 - Financial and Operations Principal from FINRA in August 2020.
