John Pena

John Pena has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. John currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at iCapital, where they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Aponia Data Solutions from 2019 to 2021, where they created SPAs using React/Redux and built secured RESTful API's with Python/Flask. Before that, in 2019, they attended Flatiron School as a student, where they gained proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Redux, and Ruby on Rails through solo and team projects. In 2018, they worked as a Data Entry professional at Lenco Diagnostic Laboratory, accurately analyzing and entering received specimens information. John also worked as a Logistics Specialist at JP Logistics from 2016 to 2018 and as a Logistics Coordinator at Lowe's Companies, Inc. from 2015 to 2016. John'searliest work experience was as a Manager at AutoZone from 2012 to 2015.

John Pena attended the Flatiron School in 2019, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. John did not obtain a degree from this institution. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they attended LaGuardia Community College, where they completed coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Economics. John did not specify a field of study for this program. In addition to their formal education, John Pena has also obtained two certifications. In December 2019, they obtained the Watson Discovery Foundations certification from IBM. In November 2019, they obtained the Certified Internet Webmaster JavaScript Specialist certification from TestDome.
