Lauren Unger

Lauren Unger has a strong background in the legal field with experience in various positions. Lauren is currently working at iCapital Network as a Senior Vice President and Legal Counsel, where they have been since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President and Legal Counsel at iCapital Network from July 2020 to February 2023. Lauren previously worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis from June 2018 to June 2020. Before that, they served as a Legal Associate in Real Estate at The Blackstone Group from April 2016 to May 2018. Lauren also gained experience as a Legal/Compliance Associate at BTG Pactual from August 2015 to February 2016 and as a Legal/Compliance Associate at J. Goldman & Co., L.P. from May 2014 to April 2015. Lauren began their career as an Intern at the US Department of Homeland Security from January 2014 to May 2014 and as a Judicial Intern at the New York County Supreme Court, Commercial Division from May 2013 to August 2013. Earlier in their career, they interned at Vedder Price, P.C. in May 2011.

Lauren Unger earned their J.D. degree from Cardozo School of Law, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a B.A. in Political Science.
