Soo Wei Fong

Soo Wei Fong has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance.

Soo started their career as a System Test Engineer at Motorola Solutions in 2005 and worked there until 2008.

After that, they joined LHS Telekommunikation as a QA Engineer and worked there from 2008 to 2010.

In 2011, Soo Wei Fong joined HSBC Software Development Limited as a Senior Software QA. During their time there, they managed sub-module teams and was responsible for manual and automation testing for UK projects. Soo also participated in test design and case reviews. Soo worked in this role until 2013.

Since 2013, Soo Wei Fong has been working at iCar Asia Limited. Soo initially started as the Head of Test, where they defined standards and testing processes, managed test schedules and resources, and ensured successful testing outcomes. Soo also played a vital role in production support and the resolution of defects. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Head of Delivery, where they manage delivery processes for the team.

Overall, Soo Wei Fong has gained significant expertise in testing and quality assurance throughout their career and has shown leadership skills in managing teams and delivery processes.

Soo Wei Fong has a degree in Software Engineering from Multimedia University. They also obtained a certification in Certified Tester Foundation Level from Malaysia Software Testing Board. In addition, Soo Wei Fong has a PRINCE2 Foundation certification from PeopleCert-Axelos. They received further certifications including PRINCE2 Foundation Certification and PRINCE2 Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice and GreyCampus respectively. Soo Wei Fong also obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2020.
