Daniel Shin

Daniel Shin is a mechanical engineer and shareholder at Icarus RT, Inc. since July 2018, where contributions include developing Icarus Power Boost Technology to enhance PV solar panel efficiency, performing analyses on fluid flow and heat transfer, and creating a simplified P&ID for the system. Prior to this role, Daniel served as Managing Director at Nalda, overseeing a team in the development of a mobile app for college students and improving company efficiency through organizational enhancements. Additional experience includes a research assistant role at the University of Pennsylvania's ModLab, where Daniel worked on applications for a low-cost telescopic arm and led design efforts for a robot, as well as a summer internship at 3D Mecha, where a prototype for a diesel fuel cap was designed. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, earned in 2018.
