Lufuno Lufunomut

Lufuno Lufunomut is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various roles across different organizations. Currently serving as an Election Monitoring Compliance Officer at ICASA since October 2021, Lufuno has a solid background in media and the arts, having held the position of Senior Sub Editor at Business Day from January 2003 to July 2019 and worked as a Dramatist for the Drama for Education and Development Project from June 2000 to December 2002. Earlier in the career, Lufuno contributed as a Project Officer for the FNB Vita Awards from December 1998 to December 1999 and pursued academic studies at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1993 to 1997, earning a BA (Dramatic Art) Hons in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management. Additional educational achievements include time at Fuba Academy in 1992 and completing matric with a focus on English and History at Thengwe High School in 1991.
