Margarida Sobral

Margarida Sobral has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel and Data Protection Officer at ICE since December 2017, specializing in copyright, IT and software law, GDPR and data protection, corporate law, and employment law in Germany and the UK. Prior to this role, Margarida worked as a Legal Counsel at Quarters Co-Living, focusing on real estate, IT law, and data protection. Additional experience includes a position as Project Assistant at the European Judicial Training Network, with expertise in administrative law and migration issues, and as a Trainee Lawyer at MA&GR Advogadas, concentrating on litigation and arbitration. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a Research Scholar degree in International and European Law from Université libre de Bruxelles, and a Master's degree in International Law and International Relations from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.
