Director Of Customer Service at Icelandair

Guðný Halla Hauksdóttir has a diverse work experience in customer service and customer experience roles. Guðný Halla began their career at Vodafone Iceland as a Department Manager in 2005 and worked there until 2012. Guðný Halla then joined Tal as the Head of Customer Service for a year. In 2013, they transitioned to VÍS Insurance Ltd as a Project Manager of customer experience until 2015. Following that, they worked at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur as the Head of call center and collection from 2015 to 2021. In 2019, they joined Reykjavík Energy as the Head Of Customer Experience until 2021. Currently, they hold the title of Director Service & Customer Experience at Icelandair, starting in 2021, and has recently been appointed as the Director of Customer Service in 2022.

Guðný Halla Hauksdóttir completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Reykjavik University between 2007 and 2011. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Háskóli Íslands from 2012 to 2014.
