Jason Heckel

Jason Heckel serves as the Head of Global Tax at Icertis since April 2022. Prior to this role, Jason held various senior tax positions at Zillow Group from May 2014 to April 2022, including Senior Director and Director of Tax, where responsibilities encompassed tax compliance, tax accounting, and strategy for the global enterprise, with notable experience in corporate acquisitions and SEC reporting. Jason's earlier career includes roles at Deloitte Tax LLP as Senior Tax Manager, Moss Adams as Tax Manager, and Ernst & Young as Tax Senior, focusing on areas such as ASC 740, large corporate tax compliance, and multi-state tax analysis. Additionally, Jason contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer in Accounting and Tax courses at the University of Washington from March 2015 to May 2017. Jason holds a Master's degree in Taxation and dual Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Washington.
