Karolina Sarna

Karolina Sarna is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product leadership, engineering, and data strategy. Currently serving as Director of Product at ICEYE, Karolina has successfully expanded a software engineering team and developed a technical roadmap that significantly boosted company revenue. Previous roles include director positions focused on data infrastructure and application engineering, where Karolina enhanced data throughput and governance practices. Prior tenure at ESA/ESTEC involved engineering contributions to scientific data products, while a management role at Akvo resulted in increased revenue from data services. With a PhD in Atmospheric Physics from Delft University of Technology, Karolina has expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and remote sensing, underpinned by a robust educational background in environmental protection and science.
