Sophie Peters

Sophie Pesek is currently a PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Energy and Resources Group while also serving as an Arnhold Fellow at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research Analyst at Resources for the Future, where Sophie worked from March 2021 to June 2023, and as a Data Analyst at H2Ok Innovations from September 2020 to May 2021. Sophie has also held positions including Research Analyst at Bluefield Research, an intern at Zoomlion Ghana Ltd. and Conservation International, and an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Sophie earned a BA in Environmental Science and Engineering from Harvard University, graduating in 2020, and attended St. Paul's School for high school education.
