Debabrat Sukla

Debabrat (Deb) Sukla is a seasoned professional in communications and marketing, currently serving as a Senior Communications Officer at ICIMOD since October 2023. Prior to this role, Deb was with X-Leap from June 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included developing marketing strategies and leading community-building efforts. Deb has a diverse background, having worked as a Communications Consultant at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements and contributed as a writer for World from Space. Deb's experience also includes significant roles at ICIMOD focused on knowledge management and communication, as well as project work at CEDAR related to climate adaptation. Deb holds a Master's degree in Environment and Development from Ambedkar University, Delhi, and a Bachelor's degree in English from Ramjas College.
