Matt Carey

Matt Carey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Matt began their career in 1999 as a Museum Assistant and Docent at the Fort Collins Museum. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as the Education and Operations Director at FRIENDS OF DINOSAUR RIDGE, where they managed educational programs and volunteers, as well as revamped the organization's website.

In 2006, Matt joined Raindance Communications/InterCall as an Operations Specialist/Reports Specialist, where they prepared and distributed reports on company service offerings and provided technical support to customers. Matt also served as an Advanced Support Technician, Tier III, providing high-level customer support and assisting with training and product testing.

Matt continued their career at InterCall from 2007 to 2010 as a Programmer Analyst and Multimedia Specialist. In this role, they edited website content, optimized audio/video clips for online events, and prioritized work based on urgency and deadlines. Matt also coached Tier I and II Support on complex technical issues and contributed to the development of a knowledge base.

From 2010 to 2019, Matt worked at West Unified Communications Services as a Programmer Analyst, focusing on frontend development. Matt created and maintained resource websites, event registration sites, and web forms for internal and external audiences. Matt also curated content and code for email templates, automated manual tasks, and improved processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

In 2019, Matt joined Intrado as a Programmer Analyst, UI Designer, and Scrum Master. Matt wireframed, prototyped, and collaborated with development teams to bring new features to market for a UCaaS product. As a certified Scrum Master, they led a diverse team and implemented agile software development practices to enhance predictability and deliver business value.

Currently, Matt is working at iCIMS as a Sr. Branding Engineer, starting in November 2021.
