Natasha Alcantra has over seven years of professional work experience. In 2013, they began as a Conversation Partner at the American English Institute, University of Oregon College of Arts and Sciences. In 2014, they worked as a Student Tour Guide and Office Assistant at the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Product Designer and Project Manager at Divine Inventions. During this same period, they also worked as a Production Designer at National Sign Corporation and an Art Educator at Smart with Art. In 2018, they became a Production Artist at iClick. In 2020, they began working as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, a Digital Designer at Native Americans in Higher Education & Mentorship, and a Nature Program Teacher at Heartwood Nature Programs. In 2021, they became a Lead Graphic Designer and Graphic Designer at Super Purposes™.
Natasha Alcantra is currently enrolled in the University of Washington College of Engineering, where they are studying Human Centered Design & Engineering. Natasha previously attended the University of Pennsylvania in 2019-2020, where they completed an Executive Program for Social Innovation Design. From 2010-2015, they attended the University of Oregon, where they obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Product Design. Natasha also attended Kapolei High School from 2006-2010. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a 120-Hour TESOL Certificate Course from International Open Academy in August 2020, and a Becoming a More Equitable Educator: Mindsets and Practices certification from MITx on edX in July 2020.
