Franciszek Rakowski

Franciszek Rakowski is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and epidemiological modeling, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Simmundi since June 2022. In parallel, Rakowski holds the position of Project Leader at ICM University of Warsaw, leading the ICM UW Epidemiological Model. Rakowski has also been instrumental as Head of the Artificial Intelligence Team at ICsec S.A. and serves on the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Health, Poland, focusing on COVID-19 analysis and forecasting. Additional roles include membership in the Polish Prime Minister Covid-19 Advisory Board and a brief tenure as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Washington in 2023. Rakowski's previous experience includes significant positions at Samsung Electronics, where as Principal Data Scientist, leadership in acoustic intelligence projects was demonstrated, and extensive academic involvement at ICM Warsaw University. Franciszek Rakowski obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from Warsaw University of Technology from 1995 to 2001.
