Chris Chew is a Senior Software Engineer at ICON since May 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Udacity, Inc. from April 2012 to May 2014, where they curated and analyzed activity data using various technologies. Chris worked as a Software Architect/Engineer at eCollege from June 2009 to April 2012, building scalable applications and infrastructure in Erlang, Java, and Node.js. Prior to that, they held software engineering roles at Rivet Software, Chatham Financial, CU Direct Connect, Open Technology Solutions, and worked as a self-employed Software Engineering Consultant.
Chris Chew attended St. John's College from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree. Chris'smajor subjects were Philosophy and History, and they also pursued minors in Mathematics and Foreign Language. In 2011, they briefly enrolled in the Erlang Factory OTP/Express program to study Erlang OTP.
